I don’t think the basement builder will sell us the panels. Right now, he’s much more interested in selling us the complete “service.”

Of course, that adds up to quite a few hours 😉

Is there anything else we should pay attention to regarding the panels?

No, the concrete will probably just be roughened a bit to provide a better bonding surface. Although I don’t recall that our construction manager ever required this procedure from the builder’s side…

Kind regards

Thanks again.

Yes, it will probably take several hours.
For the waterproofing with bituminous membrane, it costs just under 4,000 (they will probably do the sanding themselves as well).
For 100mm (4 inches) of insulation, it will be almost 3,000 more.
Although I don’t recall our construction management ever requiring this procedure from the client’s side...

Since we are only paying about 14,000 for the basement, we knew we would have to pitch in a bit ourselves ;-)

14,000 EUR for 4 walls, plus the slab, plus insulation, plus electrical work, plus screed, plus, plus—or what exactly is included in the 14,000 EUR?

Kind regards

If only it were that easy ;-)
So the 14K include a concrete slab, a prefabricated basement (about 8.50 x 9.50 meters (28 x 31 feet)) with 3 rooms plus basement stairs, basement ceiling, 3 wall drains, floor drain with backflow prevention and trap, 4 double-glazed basement windows, and of course delivery and installation.
I believe I haven’t forgotten anything. ;-)

We will do the waterproofing against ground moisture and insulation ourselves.
