ᐅ Concrete slab for equipment/storage room. What options are possible? Any advice?

TomTom1Hello!
Originally, only a carport was planned, but now a masonry storage room with dimensions of 3.50 x 4.00 m (11.5 x 13.1 ft) is to be added.
Since a 20 cm (8 inches) layer of crushed stone has already been applied and compacted, I would rather not dig down to the frost line manually 🙁 for the foundation, but prefer to reinforce the slab instead.
Question: With this base acting as a capillary break layer, what would a suitable concrete slab look like? Is reinforcement with 2 steel mesh mats sufficient? Any additional advice?
Thank you,
TomTom1

Quick question: why not use paving stones as the floor covering?Hello!
The discussion wasn’t about the floor covering, but the ground itself. You can’t build a wall directly on paving stones.
