Hello everyone!
What do you use under your hedges, in your front gardens, in your flower beds, etc.?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to the options you use?

I’m looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

Bark mulch on a few pathways. Hay in the raised beds and pots to prevent drying out. Comfrey planted as well, it benefits the soil a lot. Effective microorganisms (EM) also in use. Otherwise, keep it very natural.

A bit of this, a bit of that. We have fresh wood chips... looks like a Christmas market in one corner. Another bed has nothing so the ground cover can continue to take root.
Bark mulch is acidic and becomes unsightly.
