ᐅ Bamboo flooring for the bathroom: What should be considered during installation?

Hello,
I am new here and have a question right away:
We want to install bamboo parquet flooring (vertical, oiled) in the bathroom, and the supplier from the wood store we chose recommended that we both glue the bamboo parquet planks to each other and glue them to the subfloor.
Note: we do not have underfloor heating.
We are a bit confused because we thought you either glue the planks together or glue them to the floor, but not both.
Is this really necessary, or is a floating installation sufficient?
Are there any other special considerations when installing bamboo flooring in a bathroom?
Thank you in advance for all your answers.
Best regards,
Kupferkopf
