We own a house with a roof from 1978. Originally, we planned to replace the roof. However, after consulting several roofing professionals on site who assured us that the roof is still in good condition, we would like to install a small solar power system with 4 modules on the roof. We want to do this in the least invasive way possible. The roof has concrete tiles, and underneath are roofing felt sheets. An initial quote included cutting the roof tiles and then carefully restoring the roofing felt, but without any warranty.

An alternative would be the Lehmann system. In this system, the hook is attached directly to the roof tile. The roof tile is completely replaced and screwed onto the hook.

Does this system make sense, and is it actually gentler on the roof?
