Hello. Our heating system differs from the original application. The reason is that, according to the installer, although the old heating system is still eligible for funding, there are increasing problems with it.
Previously, we had the Aerotop Split 07 M-RX, and now we have the Aerotop Split 07 M-R. The only difference I see is that the “X” version operates on 240 volts and the new one on 400 volts. Are there any other differences? Please see attachments. What are the advantages and disadvantages of 240 V versus 400 V?
However, my main question is how I should proceed regarding BAFA (Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control). The funding approval from BAFA is in place. Both heating systems are on the funding list. The plumber has no idea and is not interested or responsive.
A hydraulic balancing was recently carried out, but I haven’t received the report yet. What is meant by an electricity meter? Attached is a picture of our meter box. I have purchased a heat meter and the plumber has installed it. Now he wants to install a second one. But can the consumption not be calculated by comparing the electricity meter and the heat meter? The upper meter should be for consumption measurement, right? We also have a photovoltaic system (just for your information).
Who is responsible for adjusting the heat pump to the building? Is there any certification or proof for this?

What are your experiences with the random inspections by BAFA after one year? If only one out of more than 1000 applications is reviewed, I’m not too worried. Otherwise, I would have to rely on the plumber to handle it. But he has no clue about that.
We are currently having a dispute with him because he forgot to install the concealed part behind the shower plaster. Right on time for moving in, the wall had to be opened up again. So, we have been without a main bathroom for three weeks now.

I would therefore ask for clarification and submit an honest invoice.Tx-25 schrieb:

A hydraulic balancing was carried out recently but I have not received the report yet. What is meant by an electricity meter? Attached is a photo of our distribution board. I have purchased a heat meter, and the plumber installed it. Now he wants to install a second one. But can the consumption not be calculated by comparing the electricity meter and heat meter readings? The upper meter should be for consumption calculation, right? Who is responsible for adapting the heat pump to the building? Is there any certification or proof for this?Is it only about having installed a different model than what was applied for? We had the same issue. My husband called BAFA. Their statement was that as long as both models are eligible for funding, it is not a problem.
