Hello. Our heating system differs from the original application. The reason is that, according to the installer, although the old heating system is still eligible for funding, there are increasing problems with it.

Previously, we had the Aerotop Split 07 M-RX, and now we have the Aerotop Split 07 M-R. The only difference I see is that the “X” version operates on 240 volts and the new one on 400 volts. Are there any other differences? Please see attachments. What are the advantages and disadvantages of 240 V versus 400 V?

However, my main question is how I should proceed regarding BAFA (Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control). The funding approval from BAFA is in place. Both heating systems are on the funding list. The plumber has no idea and is not interested or responsive.

A hydraulic balancing was recently carried out, but I haven’t received the report yet. What is meant by an electricity meter? Attached is a picture of our meter box. I have purchased a heat meter and the plumber has installed it. Now he wants to install a second one. But can the consumption not be calculated by comparing the electricity meter and the heat meter? The upper meter should be for consumption measurement, right? We also have a photovoltaic system (just for your information).

Who is responsible for adjusting the heat pump to the building? Is there any certification or proof for this?

Hello. Is there really no one here who can help me?

I would contact BAFA directly, as they are the only ones who can provide a definitive answer. In principle, the heating system applied for must not be changed. Whether this also applies to your case... good question.

Of course, I prefer not to unnecessarily pressure BAFA. When I call them, I already know their first response without them thoroughly reviewing the process: the subsidy will be denied.

Understandable...

Then just let it happen, play dumb and take it easy. You can't change anything anymore anyway.
