Hello everyone,
On Saturday, we might buy a plot of land – and those are really scarce here.
The downside (or however you want to see it) is that it’s a rear lot, or a plot set far back from the street. The driveway is about 35 meters (115 feet), and the distance to the house is probably around 40 meters (130 feet).
A quick question: WHO has a similar plot and can tell me how much the costs are (especially for earthworks) for such a long access road? Of course, development costs and utility connections vary, but I would be extremely grateful for a rough estimate since I have no idea.
Thank you, thank you!!!

We have similar conditions... for sewage, water, and electricity, we paid 8,675 € (approximately 9,380 USD). The phone costs are always the same (Telekom), and we do not have gas.
Sewage costs are, of course, only partly related to the distance.
We are planning the driveway so that only the first 12 m (40 feet) will be paved (60 m² / 645 ft²), and then there will be just a footpath leading to the house. We want to use the driveway and are currently planning a greenhouse.
In case of emergency, it should be possible to drive to the house through the carport (our driveway is 5 m [16 feet] wide).

Oh, thank you very much for the reply! Are the earthworks and everything included? All the shafts, sewer pipes, cables, etc. – sorry, I’m still at the very beginning of this and no one can really estimate it.
How many meters (feet) is it from the connection point to the house? And did you have to install entirely new connections?
I’m just surprised that many people with a much shorter driveway had to pay about the same amount. The idea of paving is not bad.

Yep – everything included. You can ask your local authority or utility providers for the exact prices – it’s usually charged per meter. For wastewater, it wasn’t exactly the same... that reminds me, I forgot to mention the part from the municipality: €3636 – but that wasn’t related to the length, just the road opening and closing fees.
So, overall it was €11,316 + €694 for construction electricity + €600 for telecommunications (of which you can usually get back €400 depending on your contract).
I think we had about 42 meters.
@Lenza: what do you include in your site development costs? Of course, if you have to dig up a motorway/highway, it might be more expensive.
