Hello!

It is well known that the INTEGRAL door dampers do not fit AVSIKT doors. Nevertheless, I would like the doors to close slowly and, above all, quietly. Which dampers do you use, or which ones from Blum are compatible?

Looking forward to your ideas!

Hello

If then 970a or 971a, but at IKEA you can also get a damper similar to the 970a. However, it doesn’t work with glass doors. We have four in our kitchen overhead cabinets and no dampers; they just close the door normally without slamming.

If you install the 971a damper, please share your results 🙂

Hi,

no soft-close dampers are planned for the Avsikt doors. As far as I know, Blum does not offer a version for Ikea either. It’s also not possible to replace the hinges with standard hinges. There used to be a 6-pack of universal dampers, but they are discontinued; however, according to hearsay, they might come back sometime. Otherwise, just check eBay to see if you can find anything.

The installation of the BLUMOTION item no. 970A1002 worked without any problems. Since then, nothing slams anymore. Ideal and affordable: 1.50 EUR per damper.
