Hello everyone,

I’ll just ask directly without too much introduction: how should I properly insulate?

The ground floor is occupied and heated, and a screed will be installed on top. Which type would you recommend? The ceiling joists there are 180 mm (7 inches) thick. The rafter thickness in the sloped roof and the collar beams are also 180 mm (7 inches).

Areas 2 and 3 are unused spaces where only fully insulated heating pipes run through. Area 1 should function somewhat like an attic; it includes a small roof hatch and a folding ladder leading to the living area.

The roof is covered with Frankfurter tiles, and underneath there is a membrane that is not airtight (the overlaps are neither welded nor glued). The roof pitch is 39°. The house was built in 1990 and is a prefabricated house.

How should I insulate each area? That’s why I divided everything by color.

Thanks in advance
