ᐅ Attach the facade to wire mesh baskets

Hello...
I am currently remodeling my kitchen.
For two 40 x 80 cm (16 x 31.5 inch) cabinets, I have wire baskets as drawers.
Now I would like to attach fronts—one 40 cm (16 inch) and three 20 cm (8 inch) ones.
How do you attach the fronts to the Utrusta wire baskets?
Has anyone done this before or have any ideas?

Hello, I like DIY projects, but in this case, I would skip the hassle and replace the baskets with Maximera or the affordable Förvara drawers.

There were (are?) also full-extension basket pull-outs from other suppliers to which fronts can be attached (Blum?), but that would also involve some DIY work.

Do you still have the purchase receipt? Then you can return the baskets.
If I wanted to attach a front panel to the basket, I would make supports from suitable plastic that have a shape like

with two mounted crosswise and two lengthwise.
The parts for fastening should have elongated holes to allow some adjustment of the front panel. You would also need to properly set the tilt of the front.

If you can return the baskets, a FÖRVARA would only cost you 5 € (euros). Also, check the clearance section. Drawers are often offered there at reduced prices.

So, I can’t exchange them anymore since I’ve had the baskets for over 14 days.
I thought it would be easier to deal with...
So, I’ll try to get rid of the baskets and then get the other drawers instead.
