ᐅ Attaching Drawer Slides to an Ikea Bestå TV Unit

Hello dear friends,

Last week, I bought five Besta TV benches measuring 60cm x 32cm x 40cm (24 inches x 13 inches x 16 inches). Along with these, I purchased twice the drawer fronts, 60cm x 16cm (24 inches x 6 inches) high each, and two Inreda drawers, 60cm x 40cm x 7cm (24 inches x 16 inches x 3 inches) high.

Now, I have assembled the first cabinet and attached the rails in the 1st and 5th holes. The problem is that the drawers are hitting each other. So, I would need to attach the upper drawer rail in the 6th hole.

My main issue is that the wall bracket is screwed into the rear 6th hole.

Have any of you experienced this problem? Can someone please help me?

One idea I had was to cut the wall bracket to move it by one hole, but that can’t be the right solution, can it?

Hello, did you install the front of the lower drawer deeper than the one on the upper drawer?
