Hello,
I want to remove or relocate two walls in our upper floor and replace them with drywall.
The walls marked in green and blue are to be removed.
Both are solid masonry, about 11cm (5 inches) including plaster. In the bathroom, there used to be a chimney along the wall to be removed – this has already been taken out.
There is a crossbeam in the living room (marked in orange), which definitely serves a load-bearing function. It is not affected by my renovation, but I have marked it anyway.
What is your assessment: is this problematic, or can it be done?
Thanks!
