Hello everyone,

Today we received the offer for our planned solid construction house (142 m² (1525 sq ft) urban villa in Berlin). Basically, I like it very much, but I would like to hear your opinions on the individual items that come with additional costs. Are these realistic?

- Entrance canopy supported by two reinforced concrete round columns: 5,000 EUR
- Glazed clay roof tiles instead of concrete tiles: 2,900 EUR
- Four French balcony railings made of powder-coated steel with stainless steel handrail: 2,000 EUR
- Electric roller shutters on the ground and attic floors (Somfy): 5,400 EUR
- Central control system for the roller shutters: 3,200 EUR
- Two towel radiators: 1,000 EUR
- Roof eaves 70 cm (28 inches) instead of 50 cm (20 inches): 2,600 EUR

I look forward to your opinions/information. Thanks in advance!

In our current offer, the electric drives with individual controls for 15 windows are priced at 6,600 euros. How many do you have?

I find the prices acceptable overall; however, the number of windows for the roller shutters is missing.

We also have a 70cm (28 inches) roof overhang, but in our case, this did not incur any additional cost.

Thank you for your responses. We are currently planning with 18 windows/roller shutters.

In my opinion, the price for the roller shutters is reasonable.

Which company manufactures your clay roof tiles?
