We had new windows installed in our older building (1970). During a conversation at the home improvement store, the salesperson looked shocked because he said the windows should not have been installed like this. Therefore, I wanted to ask here again if this is really a problem.
The large window is not resting on the masonry, but on metal beams (unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the components, as the windowsill has already been installed).
