Good morning everyone, I have a somewhat specific question: Are spare parts for the IKEA Platsa system also available for purchase on Amazon? I am mainly looking for connectors and cabinet doors, as I need to retrofit a few parts and the IKEA online shop currently seems quite limited. It would be great if someone has experience or tips on whether you can reliably get the right spare parts through Amazon, or if it’s better to turn to third-party suppliers. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the responses so far. This basically confirms that I should use the official IKEA channel. However, I wonder if anyone has experience with IKEA’s customer service – are replacement parts delivered quickly, or are there longer waiting times? This is especially important to know when you only need individual doors or fittings.

Keatondra17 Aug 2021 15:48For my last order through IKEA support, the spare parts delivery took about one week. They also offer local pickup, if available. The processes are straightforward as long as you have the exact product number. By the way, the staff are usually very helpful.
