Hello everyone, I’m currently facing an issue with the IKEA Hemnes wardrobe I recently purchased. As you know, the Hemnes range is quite extensive, but unfortunately, my delivery is missing an important connecting part – specifically, a special bolt that ensures the stability of the module. My question is: Are there any quick solutions or proven practical strategies to replace missing parts for IKEA Hemnes without having to wait a long time for replacements? I would like to know if these spare parts can be easily reordered from IKEA, perhaps even online, or if there are alternative methods that are especially helpful in time-sensitive furniture projects. I’d appreciate any tips and experiences, especially how you have dealt with similar situations in the past.
Quick update from me: I called IKEA this morning; the representative was very helpful and took the order for replacement part 'A12' directly. The delivery time is about 4 days, which is acceptable. Meanwhile, I am still checking if I can find the part at the hardware store as a temporary solution. Thanks to everyone for the helpful tips, especially with the exact part number and the direct contact!

Maybe you could turn this story into a funny assembly diary – as a bit of relief in between Not a bad idea, maybe there will be more IKEA projects worth documenting. Thanks anyway for the support here; this forum will definitely remain a valuable source of information.
I agree and would recommend: Once the replacement part has been delivered, be sure to check the fit and quality before installation. Some replacement parts may vary slightly if they come from different batches. Quality control beforehand can prevent unnecessary follow-up costs.
