Yes, indeed we have drywall (plasterboard) walls and partly older wooden stud structures, which makes installation seem complex to me. IKEA generally only provides standard fasteners, which are mostly intended for solid walls. For drywall, it is often advisable to purchase special anchors separately, as these are not included in the delivery. You need to take this into account separately.
