Hello everyone,
I am currently considering integrating some furniture pieces from the IKEA Brimnes range into my bedroom and wonder if there are any IKEA Brimnes models that come with built-in lighting.
I am particularly interested in cabinets or beds from this series that are factory-equipped with lighting elements, such as LED strips, spotlights, or other lighting solutions.
I would also like to hear about experiences with such furniture regarding the functionality and quality of the lighting, as well as information about whether the lighting is sold separately or only available as an accessory.
Could someone clarify this or provide more detailed information?

Are these sturdy, easy to install, and do they serve their purpose well with the appropriate brackets?Installation is simple because they come with adhesive tape. Stability depends largely on how well the surface is prepared.
Mounting brackets are usually not required since the tape holds securely.
I would like to bring up another aspect:
The supposed simplicity of installing lighting afterwards should not be underestimated.
Moisture, wood expansion, and electrical connections can cause problems over the long term.
A permanently integrated lighting system would also have to be safe and compliant with standards for the furniture manufacturer.
The absence of such solutions in the Brimnes range might indicate that the effort required for built-in lighting is too high or the market value is too low.
