Hello everyone,

I am currently assembling an Ikea Besta furniture unit but unfortunately no longer have the official assembly instructions. My question is: Are there any helpful video tutorials or alternative resources that explain the assembly of the Ikea Besta system in a detailed and easy-to-follow way, so that correct installation can be ensured even without the original manual? I am specifically looking for practical, visual guides that also cover different variations of the Besta shelving unit. Thanks in advance for your experiences or tips!

I agree with that. Videos are a helpful tool, but they do not replace the need to identify individual components and be aware of any installation instructions. As far as I know, there is no perfect substitute for the original manual. The videos are helpful, but should always be used with caution. It is especially important to pay attention to the order of the assembly steps and not just follow them blindly.

The individual parts of Ikea Besta are often already marked with numbers or symbols. When the videos explain this, assembly is definitely much easier. Important: always complete the cabinet carcass first before installing doors and drawers.

Thank you, that is an important note! I have noticed that there are indeed several versions of Besta, which differ in depth and hinge type.

I will make sure to mainly look for tutorials that are compatible with my specific model. Is there a way to verify the exact version online or through videos using a type designation or serial number, to ensure the tutorial is an exact match?
