Hello everyone, I’m planning to get some furniture from the Ikea Brimnes series, especially bedroom pieces like wardrobes, dressers, and beds. I’m wondering if the Brimnes furniture comes in different size options—for example, whether the dressers or wardrobes are available in various widths, heights, or depths, or if there is just a standard size to expect. If there are different sizes, it would be helpful to know exactly which size options exist and how flexible the series is in terms of room dimensions and intended use. I’m particularly interested in detailed information about the measurements and whether Ikea’s range offers more flexibility than you might assume at first glance online or in the catalog. To clarify: I'm less concerned with highly customized dimensions and more interested in whether, for example, a Brimnes dresser can be ordered in two or three defined sizes, or if only one size option is ever offered. This would help with space planning. I’m also curious about possible minimal differences in bed frames, such as width plus or minus 5cm (2 inches). If anyone has experience with whether Ikea offers size variations for the same model, that would be great. The Brimnes series usually offers at least two to three size options for standard furniture, especially for wardrobes and dressers. For bed frames, common standard sizes like 90x200 cm (35x79 inches) and 140x200 cm (55x79 inches) are available. Small size differences of 5 cm (2 inches) are not offered.
On the topic of availability: The size range in the Brimnes series is fairly stable, with some models being permanently offered. However, the selection varies somewhat by region and season. Therefore, if you need a specific size, you should check this before making a purchase.

In my experience, the basic sizes of Brimnes have been available for a long time. Of course, some models are discontinued occasionally or certain colors are limited editions, but the core sizes and models usually stay in the range for years.
