Are there any tips to make Ikea Brimnes doors easier to open?
I have the issue that the doors of my Brimnes wardrobe close very tightly and often open quite stiffly. This not only makes accessing the compartments more difficult but also causes increased wear on the doors and hinges over time. I am particularly interested in proven methods that are easy to implement to make opening smoother.
Maybe someone has experience with adjusting the hinges, lubricants, or other home remedies to make these doors glide more easily? Thanks for any helpful advice.

Could it be that the rubber buffers acting as stops are set too tight, making the door difficult to open?Yes, they can indeed press too firmly.

If so, how exactly do you adjust them without causing the door to rattle when closing?Usually, they are just glued or inserted – you can slightly shift or slide them, then test the fit.
If the door rattles, simply push them back a little until the noise stops, but the door still opens smoothly.
I added small felt or foam rubber strips underneath as dampers, which created a very pleasant effect.

Also check the screws on the handles and the door, as these often become slightly loose due to vibrations.
This can affect how the door moves.
If everything is tight and lubricated, the opening should become smoother.

As an addition: Most Brimnes models use clip hinges that can be adjusted in small increments.
Precise adjustments are much more effective than trying to fix the issue quickly by timing.
I would therefore slowly adjust the screws for depth and height and test the function more frequently in between.
