Are there any tips for wall mounting the Malm dresser? I plan to secure the dresser against tipping over since I have small children in the house. However, I’m unsure which anchors or screws are best suited—especially considering different wall types like drywall (plasterboard), concrete, or brick. I’m also interested in the ideal placement of the mounting points and the best procedure for installation. Has anyone had experience with securing this dresser to the wall and can offer practical advice?
As an addition: Furniture anchors that comply with European standards (EN) for anti-tip devices provide tested safety. These systems are suitable for furniture such as the Malm chest of drawers and are easy to install. A combination of wall plugs, screws, and appropriate tip-over protection offers the best solution—especially in households with children.

Does anyone know of specific product examples suitable for both drywall and concrete? Are there any recommendations or experiences with particular manufacturers in the forum?
I have had good experience with the branded product "TÜV-tested furniture safety strap" – it is quite flexible and holds well on drywall as long as the screws are used with proper hollow wall anchors. It fits well with Malm furniture, and you’re not limited to the construction brackets in case wall mounting is needed in other places. 🙂

Does anyone know specific product examples that are suitable for both drywall and concrete? Most manufacturers offer universal kits with various anchors and screws designed for multiple wall types. Usually, you just need a flathead screwdriver and some basic handyman skills – the plug-and-play approach doesn’t always work, but it’s best not to overcomplicate things either. Thanks to everyone for the helpful tips and suggestions! I will follow the recommended anchors and mounting points and also consider using a tested furniture anchor – extra safety can’t hurt. I’ll be happy to report back once I’ve completed the project and can share firsthand experiences.
