- Installing the back panel: This is often the critical point. The back panel is key for stability. Make sure it is perfectly straight; otherwise, the cabinets will lean after assembly. Use a spirit level — this is standard practice.

- Dowels and screws: Sometimes the holes don’t line up perfectly. Light filing can help but be careful.

Thank you for the offer! I plan to place two Platsa modules, each about 60x40x89 cm (24x16x35 inches), side by side, partly with drawers and partly with doors. The room is just under 2.5 meters (8 feet) wide, and the space needs to be arranged around a radiator, which is why the flexibility of Platsa is especially interesting to me. That’s a great question! The biggest issue is that if the back panel is not installed precisely, even small misalignments can later affect stability – drawers or doors may no longer close properly.

My advice: use wooden shims or small spacers to secure the furniture firmly against the wall. For areas around the radiator, carefully measure the modules and, if necessary, adjust or partially omit the back panel where possible.

Pay attention to installing wall brackets – these are especially important for multi-module systems. They secure your furniture firmly, even on uneven walls. One more thing: always check with a spirit level before tightening everything permanently.

A small additional tip: If you have the instructions as a PDF, you can keep them on a tablet and check off each step as you go. This way, you won’t lose track of anything. Only tighten the screws by hand at first, then align everything before fully tightening them at the end. This prevents having to disassemble everything later.
