Hello,
I want to expand my Ikea kitchen and change the cabinet fronts.
The kitchen is about 5 to 6 years old, and now I want to extend it and install new fronts at the same time. Does anyone know if this will work smoothly if I buy new cabinet boxes? Or have there been changes to the drilling holes, etc.?
Has the Stat front style changed in the last 6 years? I have some used ones available and might consider buying new ones as well...

IKEA-Experte27 Feb 2013 15:36Could the 125mm (5 inches) part be installed the wrong way around? It has 4 large holes instead of 2 because they are not symmetrical.

What do you mean by 4 drill holes? Four on one side? Or four in total? The latter applies to my door, with two drill holes on each side...A total of 4, with two on each side. The other doors only have drill holes on one side because they can be installed hinged on the left or right by rotating them 180°. The 125 model has four drill holes because the holes at the top and bottom don’t have the same distance from the edge (if I remember correctly). Measure to be sure.
