ᐅ Are there any updates or changes to the Ikea Faktum kitchen system?

Hello,

I want to expand my Ikea kitchen and change the cabinet fronts.

The kitchen is about 5 to 6 years old, and now I want to extend it and install new fronts at the same time. Does anyone know if this will work smoothly if I buy new cabinet boxes? Or have there been changes to the drilling holes, etc.?

Has the Stat front style changed in the last 6 years? I have some used ones available and might consider buying new ones as well...

The cabinet is not a problem; it fits. Stat was also once available in light yellow. I believe the shade of white was changed at some point. Maybe someone else knows more precisely.

So the structure has not changed. However, the color code might no longer be the same.

Since this has become urgent now (the kitchen will be expanded in February), I wanted to ask again if there have been any changes in the construction? Specifically, are the cutouts for the hinges and the other drillings in the cabinet still in the same places as they were in 2006? Or could there be some unpleasant surprises?

Also, have the hinges themselves changed? Or is it possible to use the ones from 2006 again in 2013? Because if that’s the case, I would only need to buy new doors and could reuse the rest...

STÅT white has not changed in the last 6 years.

The drill holes and hole patterns in the carcasses haven’t changed either.

There are definitely new hinges available, and you can optionally buy dampers, but the dampers do not fit the old hinges.

However, the old hinges still work, just without dampers. With a bit of effort, the old hinges can be modified so that soft-close dampers can be clipped on.
