ᐅ Are the items in these sample centers really overpriced?

I read this online. It was often mentioned that the items in these selection centers are overpriced. Would it be cheaper to choose the materials elsewhere? What are your experiences? We are considering buying a new Okal house. Thanks and best regards

Hello, I am planning to build soon.
Who guided you through the show home? Did they clearly explain to you what is included as standard and what is not? Or did your sales representative explain what is included as standard and what is not? You will see that during the selection process, there will be things coming up that you never even dreamed of.
Regards,
Claudius

Hello Claudius,
the seller explained to us that everything marked with a green dot is standard. The green dot was clearly visible, and our advisor confirmed this whenever we asked. He accompanied us throughout.

Like what, for example?

You have noticed that the thread is over 10 years old, right?!? Claudius was last online in 2011.... ;-)

Best regards,

Well, I hope he is still alive. But alright, if not, then not. These "you'll see haha" scare tactics don’t help anyone.

For example, a ladder or stepping platforms for the chimney sweep (of course, only if there is a chimney).
At least for me, that was surprising and not exactly cheap either.

Or a different roof tile color.

In general, the standard usually looks quite plain compared to the upgraded options.

You either need iron discipline, financial flexibility, or a healthy mix of both. 😉
