ᐅ Roof tiles overlap the edges of roof windows – is this normal?

Hello, attached is a photo. I think the roof tiles are sticking out too much, but the roofer says it can’t be done any other way. Also, they aren’t laid very straight. Can this be left as is, or how could it be fixed?

Complain to the roofer again and, if necessary, announce that you will carry out the work yourself. Have you already paid everything?

With the next storm, you will probably have to look for the tile in the neighbor’s garden, and whether it is watertight...

Get the roofer up on the roof and have it done properly.

Our contractor said back then that "it couldn’t be done better." We then pushed for improvements together with the expert, and sure enough, the bricks were laid perfectly. Don’t let anyone fool you; insist on the correction.
