ᐅ Architects’ Responsibilities...

I have a question about structural engineering.
My architect is now preparing the tenders for my house.
I believe that he should hire the structural engineer before the tenders, because the structural engineering is connected to the tender documents, or am I wrong?
My architect said that this is not necessary and that he can hire the structural engineer later.

In our case, the tenders for the shell construction were also carried out before the structural engineer’s final report was completed.

You should trust your architect; if you can't, then you have chosen the wrong architect.
