Heinzelmann7524 Nov 2016 21:29Hello,
we have a question regarding architect fees.
We planned the building permit / planning permission application with an architect. To secure costs, we agreed on a fixed price with him in advance. This fixed price was written into a contract, which also included estimated construction costs and the living area. The architect said at the time that he had to enter some values there, but they were not very important since we had a fixed price anyway. Now the architect is demanding more money because we exceeded these figures by about 25%. Is he entitled to this?
He never informed us that we would have to pay more until we received the invoice.
Thank you for your responses.

Heinzelmann7525 Nov 2016 06:59Construction costs and living area are fixed, as well as the architect’s fee for phases 1-4;
Payment method: down payment, payment after submitting the building permit application / planning permission application, payment after building permit / planning permission is granted.
The contract also states that any changes or additions require written form.
