Does anyone have experience with textured plaster in living areas? Is it a good alternative for wall finishing, or do you eventually get tired of it? I'm considering whether to go with wallpaper or try this option instead. Thanks for your tips! 🙂

Hi Gatita,

I wouldn’t choose a textured plaster finish for the living room anymore. When the kids were playing and got close to the wall, they would end up with scrapes or scratches right away. It’s really impractical!

Hi Gatita,

Why don’t you try painting the walls? Painting allows you to customize your walls, and the result looks great.

Hello Gatita,

I have a colored textured plaster in my apartment. It looks great and you just can’t get enough of it. I still really like it.

Hello,
thank you very much for your tips! I really need to think carefully about the rough plaster, as I hadn’t considered the risk of injury for the kids. In the end, there are also wallpapers and many paints that can be used to decorate the living spaces beautifully. Thanks again!
Best regards, gatita 🙂

Hello Gatita,

Unfortunately, when you have kids who like to play roughly, it can sometimes happen that they scrape their hands or feet on the rough plaster, which is obviously not ideal.
