ᐅ Applying facing bricks: Is a mesh reinforcement mandatory or optional?

Good morning everyone.

We have built a partition wall for the terrace using calcium silicate bricks. We now want to enhance it with facing bricks.

After the wall has been primed, the question arises whether a reinforcing mesh must be embedded in the plaster or if the primer alone is sufficient before the facing bricks are glued on.

No idea, but if you are unsure, just install one, it doesn’t cost anything.
