f-pNoHello,
I currently have a rough idea – really just a concept at a very early stage. Therefore, I haven’t yet gathered any specific documentation.
In a neighboring town, I saw a property from the 1950s is for sale. The seller has already carried out various renovations, including the roof as well as the windows and roller shutters.
New constructions must currently comply with the requirements of the 2014 Energy Saving Ordinance (latest regulations).
What are the energy-saving requirements for existing buildings?
I noticed, for example, in the initial description that the windows only have double glazing, not the triple glazing that I am familiar with. Also, I imagine that although the roof renovation was done well, it might not have been carried out according to current energy standards.
It is just an idea at the moment – I might decide not to pursue it after all. After all, owning a home is already quite a burden for me.
