Hi,

unfortunately, one of the aluminum slats in our roller shutter has partially slipped out due to the cold. The shutter was slightly frozen shut at the bottom. When raising it, it got slightly misaligned, and one aluminum slat partially slipped out of the one above it.
How can this be pushed back in?
It is difficult to remove the entire shutter curtain, and trying to push it back in does not work either.

To avoid further damage, I have now secured it and am considering what to do next.

Attached are two pictures of the situation.

Quick feedback. I managed it myself today using a trick through the service hatch.

@Mahri23 ... could you at least leave two or three keywords related to your trick? Thanks 🙂 and Happy New Year.

Sure. I lowered the shutter from the outside. Then I manually pushed it up from the outside so that it would slide inward through the inspection opening. I pulled it out enough to be able to remove the two separated slats from the side, but only halfway. Then I slowly pushed the displaced slat back into the slat above it. After that, I put both slats back into the shutter curtain. Then I carefully pushed the whole shutter back up into the housing and outward. Finally, I did a test run from top to bottom and back. Everything was back in place.
