Hello everyone,

After a long search for a construction company, I decided on Galileo-Home, who will be building my bungalow.
Over the past weeks and months, I have repeatedly come across the air-to-air heat pump from Proxon, and I really like this system because I’m not a fan of slow and overly warm underfloor heating.
My only problem is that Zimmermann, the company that sells and installs Proxon systems, does not collaborate with Galileo-Home and does not want to install such a system for me.

Now to my question:
Are there comparable alternatives to the Proxon system? A solution with similar fresh water heating would also be interesting, of course.
Unfortunately, after intensive research, I haven’t found anything concrete and would appreciate any tips.

Best regards,
Nicolas

Please just invest the extra few euros for underfloor heating plus an air-to-water heat pump (or another system). With an air-to-air heat pump, you will be forced to heat solely through the air forever, without turning the house back into a shell.

I know 2-3 houses from acquaintances, and none of them are really satisfied. Especially in winter, when it gets really cold, the houses simply feel uncomfortable.

A quick look shows that the units have a seasonal performance factor of about 2.3.

Your provider who is planning this should have given you specific information about the seasonal performance factor as well as the heating capacity and heating load.

The provider Bien-Zenker ended contract negotiations with us yesterday after I requested the technical specifications for the air-to-air heat pump and the alternatively available air-to-water heat pump. The reason given was that their business philosophy does not align with our expectations and that the trust relationship has been damaged... We are at a loss for words.

Especially since this provider bought the plots from the municipality, which exclusively awards building permits/planning permission for Bien-Zenker projects. So there is no longer any chance for us.

They currently simply do not need to deal with customers who ask too many questions...

But it’s really quite extreme to then say that the trust relationship is broken! No words....

Even though it is unfortunate due to the site conditions, perhaps it is better that the crisis happened now. Certainly, no one needs this at the moment, but this is no solid foundation for what might be the biggest purchase of a lifetime.

That’s true, but you can still be quite amazed by such business conduct.
This should actually be made public, if the explanation didn’t end up in such technical jargon that no one understands...
