ᐅ Alpha Innotec heat pump failure

Hello everyone,

Perhaps someone here can quickly provide some help. The heat pump is showing the following error message.
The manual and the display say that the unit resets itself automatically, but nothing happens. Has anyone experienced this before?

Blue display warning: Fault 793, inverter error, since 04.12.2021 16:23, RESET automatically.

By the way: Have you connected the heat pump to the internet and do you have a maintenance contract? We are considering doing this with our AI heat pump, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it or if an annual service by the heating technician is a better solution?

We carried out a 5+ commissioning through AIT, which cost around 300€ (approximately $330). This includes a 5-year warranty on the system. Online activation is also included.

The device is not connected to the internet. Do I just need to plug a network cable into it from the distribution panel? Or does it need to be activated? A maintenance contract has been signed, but the first maintenance has not yet been carried out.

Connect the cable and, for example, download the Alpha Inotec app from the App Store.

Alternatively, you can download the datagui from a specific forum on your laptop.

A restart is also possible by holding down the round button continuously.

I pressed the button for 10 seconds to reset it. However, after a few minutes, the error appeared again.

We also did commissioning through AI, but for 500€ (about 535 USD) 😳. Maintenance contract = online connection? That probably isn’t included; I haven’t found out any costs for that yet ...
