Hi everyone,
In my build, external roller shutters are being installed. These are powered through junction boxes located above and next to the windows. The boxes are not airtight (power cables run outside, and non-airtight boxes were used), but they have now been closed with spring covers and the edges were neatly sealed with joint compound during the painting work. This isn’t ideal, but should still be acceptable within an airtight layer? (If I ever need to work there again, I would replace the boxes, though).
Thanks for your feedback!

If it’s the second option, no air can enter the house from the outside. If the cable runs inside the conduit, you can seal it both inside and outside with something like putty, silicone, or another airtight material.
