Hello!
I'll start.
Heated area 200m2 (2,153 sq ft)
KfW 55 standard
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh
COP 3.88

I’m also surprised why no one is posting anymore.

But you also ignored a lot in your post, maybe that’s why they lost interest.

Have you already insulated your pipes at the heat pump?

Did you get an IR thermometer?

Well, I’d say if someone contradicts themselves from one post to the next and I ask why, then get a sharp reply, I’m going to push back as well.

And if someone talks about optimization but accepts high consumption as a result, I can’t really take that as optimization.

Basically, I always tried everything that was suggested and ran it for at least 48 hours.

Pipe insulation is ordered and will be delivered in the next few days. An IR thermometer is available and has been tested. I can rule out a hydraulic short circuit. No return flow is anywhere near as warm as the supply in the heating circuit valve.

Why Rastelli is ignoring me, I don’t know.

I find the forum rather tedious and very confusing.

Does your IR confirm the temperatures at the return and supply lines?

At the heat pump, flow temperature 24.9°C (76.8°F), return temperature 23.0°C (73.4°F)
IR thermometer on the sleeve at the flow side 24.7°C (76.5°F), return side 24.6°C (76.3°F)

This variation within 25 minutes is unacceptable.

Return temperature dropped by 0.8 and supply temperature by 0.3. As a result, the temperature difference increased to 2.5 K in standby mode. 25 minutes ago it was still 1.9 K. How is this possible? It isn’t. As mentioned, we are talking about non-heating operation. There should be no temperature difference at all in this case.

Heating controller: blue display showing supply, return, and outside temperature readings, green button.

Where is the measurement taken, at the heat pump?
Normally, the pump continues running for a certain period even when heating is not active, which alone causes a difference.
