Hello!
I'll start.
Heated area 200m2 (2,153 sq ft)
KfW 55 standard
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh
COP 3.88

In recent days, the indoor temperature has averaged around 4-6°C (39-43°F) over 24 hours. The heat pump consumption is about 7.2 kW, with water being heated in the morning and evening.

This post is a typical example of why it is important to clearly distinguish between the units kW and kWh. An average power consumption of 7.2 kW at this outdoor temperature would be amazing for an uninsulated 1970s building with a large floor area :-)

Was a bit surprised too :p
Consumed about 14 kWh within 24 hours including hot water, with an outdoor temperature of around 7°C (45°F).
New build, 200 m² (2,150 sq ft) heated area, buffer tank, buffer temperature around 5 K above the heating curve, ERR active, 5 cycles in 24 hours 😉

Now that my heat pump is running, I’ll share my numbers.
120 m² (1,290 sq ft) older building from the mid-1960s – (still) no external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) / no external wall insulation, but upper floor and basement ceiling insulated. 75% new windows.
Current consumption at about 22°C (72°F) indoor temperature is around 8 kWh including hot water, with night temperatures at 3–4°C (37–39°F) and daytime temperatures at 7–9°C (45–48°F).
==> Flow temperature at 3°C (37°F) outside temperature max. 29°C (84°F)
==> Heat pump runs practically continuously from evening until morning
==> Geisha 5 kW monoblock with closely spaced underfloor heating

I couldn’t edit my post anymore to add the h :-)

By now, all rooms are almost at the desired temperature with these outside temperatures between 4-7°C (39-45°F). The WEK downstairs is still a bit too warm. But that’s not really an issue since our loft door to the hallway/stairwell is still missing. Soon I can start turning off the actuators. Then there will be no more risks related to the overflow valve.

The heat pump ran perfectly the day before yesterday.

Today was a bit warmer, and it is now cycling once per hour again.

This will still be a long journey. 🙂
