ᐅ Air-to-water heat pump, central ventilation system, and water storage combined into a single compact unit?

In the heating guide by the consumer advice center (p. 129), it states: “There are central units, so-called compact units, which include a ventilation system, a heat pump, and a hot water storage tank. These units can also provide cooling and, in very well-insulated houses, such as passive houses, they can replace the entire building services system. The supply air then provides the heating, making an additional heating system unnecessary.”
Does anyone here have such a system? What would you say are the advantages (cheaper because all-in-one?) and disadvantages (maintenance/replacements are probably expensive, dependency on one manufacturer...)?
