marian_kassel14 Sep 2025 20:37Good day,
We are planning to buy a Kampa prefab house, built in 2008, with an air heating system in Kassel. We are somewhat concerned about noise levels, especially in the living room or bedroom. Are there any experiences or insights regarding this? Is it possible to modernize the 2008 system so that noise is minimal or completely avoided? Or would it be better to install underfloor heating right away?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance. If the system is properly adjusted, noise should not be an issue.
Have them demonstrate it to you in the house. It is currently quite cool at night, so in the morning you could run the system for a good warm-up.

The nameplate says Proxon VPC (Zimmermann Ventilation), and apparently the planning was done by Tecalor at the time. Do I have to handle everything through Zimmermann Ventilation (maintenance, new filters, expansion due to attic conversion), or can any ventilation technician assist with this?!
