Hello,
we are urgently looking for the best manufacturer of air source heat pumps. Our foundation slab for the new construction should be finished next week, but we just received a call that district heating is not feasible as planned, so now we need an air source heat pump. Which manufacturer is the best? We urgently need advice.

Best regards from Saarland

A good starting point is the Bafa – there is a lot of information and also tables that provide an overview of COPs and manufacturers.
Whether there is a single best option is another matter… that largely depends on your heating load. Whether air source heat pumps are the best choice is a different question altogether.
Take a look at the pink forum ;-) there is a lot to read there.

Could you send me a link to it? Otherwise, I end up searching for a very long time... 😉

You meant they interact with the building services? :P

The Pink Forum is probably not for me with my limited knowledge 😉 They want so many detailed statements...oh... For me, the main point is to know whether an air-to-water heat pump with solar, district heating, etc., would be preferable…

The following includes many assumptions – this is just a numerical example – I’m unfortunately not familiar with district heating:

What do you pay per kWh of heat with district heating, and what is the basic fee? Are there not also one-time connection costs?

With an air-to-water heat pump, you pay for electricity depending on the seasonal performance factor (SPF). Depending on the house size and heating system design, you might use around 6000 kWh – with an SPF of 3, that would be about €45 heating cost per month.

You can initially disregard solar; it’s not really worth it.
