Good evening, dear community,

I had my windows replaced last year when I bought our house. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but since the new windows were installed, there is a very uneven and narrow reveal (if it can even be called that!).
To illustrate, a few pictures....
What exactly can be done in such a case?
Thank you very much in advance.

Have a nice evening

Well, does it bother you that it’s like this? At first, there’s really nothing you can do about it...

What exactly is the problem now?
Since something is slightly crooked = visual defect? Maybe have it redone by the painter/plasterer?
Are you missing jamb depth now = no windowsill possible anymore or what is the issue? There are only two factors that lead to this effect: the installation plane of the window (which is rarely possible to adjust structurally in existing buildings) and the thickness of the window itself, which has probably increased compared to the old window.

Okay, thank you for your answers.
In a case like this, is there really nothing that can be done to achieve a clean, straight window reveal?
Perhaps insulating the interior side of the wall around the window?

So, in the photos, it looks very good and not crooked. I still don’t understand exactly what would be bothering you?

So, it’s a bit late in general.
Otherwise, if the window itself isn’t crooked, it’s the wall. Fixing that… well, it’s quite complex.
