Hello,
I wanted to order 3 windows online – just in time. We don’t need anything high-end – the windows are for the new workshop. It is insulated but doesn’t even have heating.
We want double-glazed windows sized 160 x 90 cm (63 x 35 inches). Now I’m looking for a supplier who offers solid quality (so no junk) but affordable windows. Does anyone have a tip where to order very cheaply?

So 430 euros for such a small window seems quite expensive to me. On eBay, I found one measuring 160 x 90 cm (63 x 35 inches), a plastic window with double glazing, two casements, tilt and turn for 259 euros. Double glazing is sufficient for our purpose. I’m just unsure whether something like that will be junk after two years.

Take a look at the cheap windows used in garden sheds. You wouldn’t replace those after just 2 years either.
For an unheated workshop, I wouldn’t worry about that at all.
Depending on what and when work is done in the workshop, soundproofing might be the only real concern.

Yes, basically you are right. But the risk of break-in is relatively high with a workshop like that, isn't it? In the end, it probably doesn’t matter. Anyone who wants to get in will manage to do so anyway. It’s probably best to just leave the door open.

Google: Buy windows online
You’ll get about 50 shops, pick 2 or 3, configure the windows, and place your order. The manufacturer of the profiles, etc., is usually shown directly. It hardly gets any easier than that.

Hello,
yes, I know. Google is your friend – understood. I wasn’t looking for search instructions, but rather whether anyone has ever ordered windows online and has any experience with that.

I paid 430 for two including shipping, where is yours so much cheaper now?
I have safety glass installed, the frame is anthracite, and it’s a tilt-and-turn window.
Shipping also costs about 40 euros (about 44 USD).
And no, it’s not junk.

It’s from ALUPLAST.
