Hello,

we are finally getting started now. After completing the ground slab, the first bricks have been laid. However, I have noticed that these do not align flush with the ground slab but are slightly set back, as shown in the picture.

Should I be concerned about this, or is it normal? My idea is that the ground slab might have been poured slightly oversized, which is why the bricks are set back...

Do you have insulation on top of it? Or brick cladding or something like that?

We also had about 2cm (1 inch) of space. We then added insulation and facing bricks, and everything fit perfectly.
