Hello,

if someone wants to add a wall to the staircase afterwards, which materials would be suitable?

Our house is being built with Poroton blocks.

In my opinion, a drywall partition or aerated concrete could be considered for the new wall. The wall needs to support a door frame and door, so I am leaning towards aerated concrete. Is this feasible? I am concerned about the connection to the ceiling, even though aerated concrete can be cut very precisely. The wall would be about 2 meters (6.5 feet) wide and full ceiling height.

What do you think?

Research stud walls. They are simple and can be built by a layperson. Usually, they are also quite affordable. A good alternative to aerated concrete, etc.!
