we would like to have a roof window retrofitted in the attic and have now received a quote from the roofer. Is the price reasonable (Berlin Brandenburg area)?

What do you think of this offer?

Very expensive. We received a quote for 1700 euros two years ago.

Complete, with roller shutter and interior lining?

Velux has apparently raised their prices quite a bit. In February 2022, we paid 3,000 euros for the retrofitting (bare, without drywall and roller shutter) of two Velux Energy MK08 78x140cm (31x55 inches) windows (in 15.... Brandenburg).

Thank you, I will definitely get two more quotes.
If we had planned this directly during the new construction 4 years ago, it probably would have cost us only a quarter of the price.

Two weeks ago, we had two new roof windows installed, both Velux. One measures 114 x 140 cm (45 x 55 inches) with a solar-powered roller shutter, and a slightly smaller one without a shutter. The total gross price was approximately 6,400 euros.
