Hello, I have a question now. I often read about additional costs of up to 500 euros per month after building a house.

Why is this amount so high? There might be new items like insurance, but shared additional costs are also paid in a rental apartment, right?

Or am I missing something else? Thank you ☺️

@saralina87 Thanks for the explanation. That way, I can position myself accordingly if the topic comes up again.
It was recently asked of me. I don’t have any artwork anyway.

BW seems to be moving towards a land value model. In that case, the whole topic of fittings wouldn’t matter anyway.

Walls would basically be in a shell condition with poured asphalt without any floor covering. So it should be less expensive than for someone who has plastered walls and tiles or hardwood flooring.

Huh? Property tax is regulated anyway, regardless of the interior fittings, right? We just had to specify the type of house, living area, plot size, special features like a swimming pool or sauna...

Additional costs ... monthly electricity 150 (looking forward to the refund), telecom 30.
Property tax 3 times a year 55€, 140€ for water and sewage.
Once a year 130 for waste disposal (full amount) and something for insurance... but that is an all-in-one package. I’m not exactly sure what the house alone costs.
Reserves 150€/month for the house

For single-family houses, it depends on the living area (under 220sqm (2370 sq ft) or more).

I am definitely in favor of the property tax being just that—a property tax. In other words, the amount of this tax would be calculated solely based on the size. One square meter of building land costs x euros, one square meter of forest y euros, and so on. In my view, this would make everything much simpler. After all, it shouldn’t really matter whether I put a tiny house or a large villa with a pool, orangery, and guest house on 2,000 m² (2,150 sq ft) of building land...
