Hello everyone,
I have inherited a room (about 6x6m (20x20 ft)) with a finished concrete slab (condition: still raw or untreated). The surface is, well, uneven with dips and rises estimated around 1-2cm (plus or minus) as is generally common.
Now I would like to install two floor drains in the middle of the room, dividing the space into thirds. The PVC pipes for them are already in place 🙂 Afterwards, I want to seal the surface because the room will be used for industrial purposes with occasional heavy equipment. My preferred option would be: leveling compound, epoxy coating with color, and possibly flakes. Alternatively, grinding, polishing, and sealing. Tiling is out of the question.
Considering a slight slope towards the floor drains, which option would you recommend? Or would you skip the slope and just use a rubber squeegee? (Water occurrence is expected to be rare.)
Thanks and best regards
