Hello,

There is a water-carrying ditch in front of our potential plot, and access to the property is via this ditch.

Currently, there is a roughly 1m (3.3 ft) wide masonry "bridge" with railway sleepers laid on top. This structure has been in place for over 40 years and is apparently suitable for daily passenger car traffic.

To accommodate possible heavy loads during the construction phase, I would like to renew and reinforce it. I was considering installing concrete pipes and then improving the driveway afterward.

Does anyone know where I can find information online in advance about this (costs, load-bearing capacity, etc.)? Since we have to cover the development costs and the expenses for creating the access ourselves, I would like to get an idea about such additional costs in advance. I haven’t found anything suitable quickly in my search; perhaps I’m missing the right keywords.

Thank you very much in advance!

I would suggest checking with the local building authority,

Yes, that would be the next step; I just wanted to get some information beforehand.
